✨Business Plan Update✨
It's 70% ish done 💃🏾. Not quite complete, but way better than 0%. We have the boring sections left to update 😩😴😴. If you need to find me this weekend, I'll be doing nothing much... just uummm head buried deep down into my laptop. Did you set any goals for this week? How's it coming along? 👀

This weekend had me reflecting. How did I get here

This weekend had me reflecting. How did I get here? Shipping off 120 shea butter wedding favors, and vending at a market with tons of people pouring in. Just 7 months ago, this business didn't even exist, and here I am, with a bride I don't even know trusting me with her wedding!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Start NOW. Not tomorrow, not next week.... NOW. If it's too intimidating, then break it up into bits of actionable steps. Hubby and I are working on a new project, and we've split up the tasks over the next few weeks. Goal for this week? Complete the business plan. No worrying about what comes next. Just simple - focus on completing the business plan.

"Well, I just don't have enough time," you say. I'll tell you this - if something truly matters to you, you'll find a way to make time.

... and I’d like to see you max the heck out of it. “But Abisola, you don’t understand how crazy busy I am,” you say. Oh honey boobo, I know you are, but trust me, it only goes downhill from here. So you might as well sign up for that Master’s degree you’ve been putting off, like tah-day.

Shortly after we got married, Oko mi and I volunteered with a refugee family from Burma (Southeast Asia). A couple times a week, we’d go to their apartment after work, help the kids with their homework, practice English with them, and play some games. It was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Would I love to keep doing it? Absolutely! How practical is it at this stage of my life? Basically, ummm odikwa very divicult sontin.

So while you have time ish, be intentional about everything – your health, self care, serving at church or volunteering wherever, advancing in your career, building friendships, hobbies, side gigs, traveling… so much to do than to just Netflix away your life.

It doesn't matter the mistakes you make or how many times you fall, it's how you finish that counts...
And don't undermine the hiccups along the way; they make your story all the more interesting.
